McCarthy raises funds for children’s hospital programs

MADISON- Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy and his wife, Jessica, raised $440,000 during the seventh annual dinner and golf invitational.  Proceeds from the event benefit American Family Children’s Hospital.

“Our family is grateful for the community’s support,” said McCarthy.  “We are committed to patients and families for the long term.”  The McCarthys have chosen American Family Children’s Hospital as their legacy charity.

The McCarthys hosted a dinner at Monona Terrace that included silent and live auctions.  The golf outing was held today at the Legend at Bergamont in Oregon.

In the seven years of the McCarthy Golf Invitation, the family has raised more than $1.8 million. McCarthy helped raise money for a new pediatric imaging pavilion, a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit and a universal care unit on the eighth floor of the hospital.
