Community Care celebrates 40 years of service

BROOKFIELD, WISCONSIN (March 22, 2017) – Community Care, a non-profit organization that provides health care and long-term care to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Wisconsin, will kickoff celebration of its 40 year anniversary across its entire organization March 23, 2017.

Over the past 40 years, Community Care has grown from a nursing home alternative in Milwaukee County to three programs funded by Medicare and Medicaid (PACE, Partnership and Family care) that serve more than 10,000 people in 14 different counties.

The company is premiering a celebratory video that will be broadcast across all 17 Community Care locations. The video features employees, program participants and Community Care leadership. Community Care has also uploaded the video to its home page for visitors to view.

Community Care Board of Directors Chairman Robert Goldstein and Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Munson will kick-off the 40th anniversary at Community Care’s Adult Day Center in Waukesha alongside some of the featured participants and staff. “This celebration is truly a celebration of our members’ health, happiness and well-being – a celebration of lives extended, enriched and enjoyed. People who work at Community Care recognize their work as not simply a job, but also as a mission to assist those most in need of help,” said Munson.
