Prevea breaks ground on new health center in Rice Lake
RICE LAKE — Construction is now underway on the new, Prevea Rice Lake Health Center, 1051 West Ave., in Rice Lake.
The Prevea Rice Lake Health Center will offer urgent care for minor illnesses and injuries seven days a week, along with family medicine, occupational health, physical therapy, lab and X-ray services. Crews broke ground Dec. 5 on the 15,872-square-foot facility, which is scheduled for completion in summer 2018.
“We are excited to be one step closer to the completion of our new health center, and to serving the health care needs of Rice Lake and its surrounding communities,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO at Prevea Health.
Prevea Health, a physician-owned, multi-specialty health care organization based in Green Bay, Wis., operates more than 40 health centers throughout eastern, northern and western Wisconsin.
