University of Wisconsin takes on obesity public health crisis with May summit

2018 Obesity Management Summit covers range of medical treatment for obesity

Obesity is one of the biggest public health challenges facing Wisconsin and medical professionals. Learn the latest in evidence-based obesity management at the 2018 Obesity Management Summit, a continuing medical education event hosted by the Department of Surgery. The event is May 18-19, 2018, at the Monona Terrace in Madison, WI. Registration is now open.

The multidisciplinary agenda will feature experts from across Wisconsin and the country in nutrition, surgery, diabetes management, the public health perspective, pharmacological treatment, and more. Medical professionals from a range of disciplines are invited to attend. Continuing medical education credit is available.
