Stowell Associates opens first regional office in Waukesha

MILWAUKEE — On Friday, June 1, Wisconsin’s largest private-pay care management
and home care company, Stowell Associates, will open its first regional office in Waukesha. With this expansion, the company is able to better serve Waukesha County residents’ home care needs.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our services in Waukesha,” said Stowell Associates President and CEO Chip Measells. “Families no longer have to face challenging, complex situations associated with aging alone—our premier team of care managers and caregivers stands ready to provide outstanding care.”

Stowell’s new regional office will be led by Regional Director of Waukesha Jen Nowak, who has been a Care Manager with Stowell since January 2011. She will be in charge of collaborating with the care managers, and overseeing client and caregiver relations and day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Stowell, Nowak was Director of Community Services at the Lutheran Home, where she had worked in various roles for 15 years.

“Jen will be an amazing leader as we pioneer our first regional office,” said Measells. “She brings deep understanding of aging services to the table. Her compassion and commitment to our mission is inspiring and shines through in her interactions with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.”

Other members of the Waukesha regional office include, Stowell Associates Care Managers Peggy
Treland and Barbara Davis, as well as Nancy Tice, who was recently hired as the Regional Office
Coordinator. Treland and Davis are Registered Nurses and have nearly 30 years of combined experience managing complex cases. Tice too is a nurse and has decades of caregiving experience, having worked in a variety of roles at a number of nursing facilities throughout the Milwaukee region.

Stowell stands out from other home care agencies because of its unique care model which integrates professional care management with home care. As Care Managers, Treland and Davis supervise a staff of specialty trained caregivers in clients’ homes rather than from the office, gaining closer engagement and individualized support for clients and their families.

At Stowell, caregivers are compensated well-above the industry standard and have access to many other benefits, including Caregiver University, a specialized education program to help improve their skillsets and pay rates. Stowell Associates has been recognized as a Top Workplace for eight years in a row. This year, the company also received a special award for staff appreciation
