Prevea Rice Lake Health Center to open in September

RICE LAKE — Prevea Health is pleased to announce the new, Prevea Rice Lake Health Center, located at 1051 West Ave., will open for patient care in September 2018.

The Prevea Rice Lake Health Center will offer family medicine, women’s care, pediatrics, orthopedics, occupational health, physical and occupational therapy, urology, lab and X-ray services. It will also provide urgent care for minor illnesses and injuries seven days a week. Additional specialty care will be added in the future.

An open house and ribbon cutting event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 4 to 6 p.m. The community will be invited to tour the new facility, meet our providers and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. An official opening date for patient care in September will be announced at a later date.

Prevea Health, a multi-specialty health care organization, has more than 80 locations throughout eastern, northern and western Wisconsin. The first western Wisconsin location opened in 2015 in Chippewa Falls. Since then, Prevea locations have opened in Eau Claire, Altoona, Menomonie, Augusta, Mondovi, Arcadia, Cornell and Ladysmith. A new health center in Ladysmith is scheduled to open in December 2018. Prevea providers also see patients at HSHS Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
