from National Research Corporation (NRC) Health. The award recognizes hospitals across the country that garner extraordinary loyalty from their patients.

“More than ever, people want healthcare that delivers on quality, convenience and exceptional experience,” said Froedtert Hospital President Cathy Buck. “We know consumers have many choices for their healthcare services, and we are honored and proud to receive this recognition.”

Formerly known as the Consumer Choice Award, the Consumer Loyalty Award evaluates hospitals on seven different measures of patient loyalty, including access, engagement, experience, and net promoter score. These measures are defined through a consumer questionnaire that ranks consumer preference based on overall brand reputation, image and customer experience. To qualify for the list, an organization had to receive at least 150 top-of-mind mentions by consumers in the survey.

Winners were selected based on results from NRC Health’s Market Insights survey, the largest database of healthcare-consumer responses in the country. NRC Health surveys over 310,000 households in the contiguous U.S., measuring their engagement with healthcare brands in their communities. Froedtert Hospital earned the Consumer Choice Award 12 years in a row prior to its sunset in 2017.
