MCW endowment announces grants to support COVID-19 response

The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment will provide up to $5 million in grants to support the state’s response to COVID-19, according to a Friday statement.

The grant is open to Wisconsin-based nonprofits, government organizations and Medical College of Wisconsin faculty. Applications are due March 30.

“This emergency funding is being made available to support immediate actions statewide that focus on prevention, risk reduction and strategies that can minimize transmission,” Dr. Jesse Ehrenfeld, the endowment’s director and MCW senior associate dean, said in a statement.
