Supreme Court to take up safer-at-home order challenge

The Wisconsin Supreme Court on Friday scheduled oral arguments for next week in a lawsuit brought by Republican legislators to block Gov. Tony Evers’ safer-at-home.

Arguments are set for Tuesday, according to a court order.

Wisconsin reported its highest single-day increase in COVID-19 cases on Friday. It reported 460 new cases, bringing the state’s total to 7,314 confirmed cases.

There were 11 additional deaths, putting the state total at 327.

There were 72,566 negative tests.
