DHS: 1,059 more COVID-19 cases, eight more deaths

There were 1,059 more cases of COVID-19 reported in Wisconsin on Thursday, bringing the total to 52,108.

There were eight more deaths for a total of 919 since the disease first appeared in the state.

There were 17,270 tests results reported, a 6.1 percent positive rate.
