DHS: 2,504 new COVID-19 cases, nine more deaths

The Department of Health Services reported 2,504 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total to 110,828.

It was the second-highest number of daily new cases since last Friday.

There were nine more deaths, for a total 1,274.

There were 15,079 more people tested, for a total 1,494,473. The daily positivity rate was 16.6 percent.

The seven-day positivity rate was 16.5 percent, and the seven-day average for daily new cases was 1,936.
