DHS reports 3,065 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health Services reported 3,095 new COVID-19 cases Monday, and six more deaths.

There have now been 357,771 people confirmed positive and the death toll is 3,011.

An additional 12,291 people were tested, for a total of 2,452,219. DHS considers 74,340 cases active.

The seven-day average for new daily cases is 5,859. The seven-day average for new daily deaths is 52.

As of Sunday, the seven-day positivity rate by person was 29.3 percent, while the seven-day positivity rate by test was 13.3 percent.

There were 13 patients at the surge facility in West Allis on Monday morning.

There were 1,999 COVID-19 patients in Wisconsin hospitals on Monday, an increase of 11 from Sunday and down 275 from the same point last week.

There were 438 in intensive care units, up 10 from Sunday and down 18 from the same point last week, according to the Wisconsin Hospital Association.
