Froedtert ThedaCare Health named a Forbes best-in-state employer

Health System Recognized Among 50 Top Employers in Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE and NEENAH, Wis.(Oct. 20, 2024) – Froedtert ThedaCare Health has been named a Best-in-State 2024 Employer by Forbes, identified in an independent survey of over 160,000 employees of companies employing at least 500 people in the United States.

The ranking was based on recommendations from employees from all industries who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employees were also asked to evaluate other employers in their respective industry and state that stood out either positively or negatively.

“Our team members are united by their dedication to serving our patients, families and communities,” said Maggie Lund, chief human resources, culture and integration officer. “This recognition celebrates the talented teams whose collaboration improves community health and well-being.”

Froedtert Health and ThedaCare finalized the agreement to come together as one organization in 2024, strengthening local health care and improving health and well-being of communities across Wisconsin. The combined organization, a partner to the Medical College of Wisconsin, has 22,000+ employees and 3,400+ providers offering services in 18 hospitals and more than 360 outpatient locations.

“Along with caring for our communities, we are also dedicated to caring for our team members,” said Lund. “Froedtert ThedaCare Health is committed to supporting our team members by partnering with them to jointly create an organization where team members thrive and where they want to work. We are proud to create a culture where our team members live their unique, best lives – at work, at home and in their communities.”

This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider.
