Diverse Group of Companies to Showcase Greater Madison’s Health Innovation Leadership at HIMSS
Region’s status as the HealthTech Capitol on display at industry’s biggest educational program and exhibition
MADISON, WI – A diverse, exciting group of Greater Madison healthtech companies will showcase their innovation at the 2019 HIMSS Global Conference & Exhibition taking place Feb. 11-15 in Orlando. The annual conference brings together more than 45,000 health information and technology professionals from around the world.
Greater Madison is a leader in health innovation thanks to a robust healthcare ecosystem featuring world-class research, the market leader in electronic health records and a strong network of payers, practitioners, manufacturers and entrepreneurs. The region is home to a national research-spending leader in the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as well as insurers, biotech and software companies, device manufacturers and many others. These strengths are among the reasons Madison was recently recognized by CBRE as a national leader in tech job momentum and by CompTIA as one of America’s “Top 20 Tech Towns.”
“HIMSS is the ideal platform for Greater Madison’s strength as a global leader in health innovation,” said Chamber President Zach Brandon. “The growing presence and diversity of Greater Madison companies at the industry’s largest educational program and exhibition center serve as yet more evidence of our region’s momentum.”
