City of Milwaukee Health Department announces food sanitation grading system to launch in 2018

Beginning January 2018, the City of Milwaukee will join cities nationwide in launching a grading system for food establishments. Milwaukee’s Sanitation Grading System will result in letter grade placards posted at food service establishments citywide, improving how the City of Milwaukee Health Department rates the sanitation of food service establishments and how that information is made available to the public.

Disability Rights Wisconsin has released a new resource guide for families of Milwaukee County children with special needs. The Family Friendly Guide to Services for Milwaukee County Special Needs Children and Youth and their Families was developed as a resource for African American families and service providers, to help families access community programs for children with disabilities.
