With a new governor set to take office next year, Gov. Tony Evers’ Department of Health Services is sprinting to the finish line. From launching the first round of rural health transformation grants to implementing Medicaid work requirements, Secretary-designee Kirsten Johnson is navigating a packed agenda in the administration’s final months.
Johnson will headline a June 9 Wisconsin Health News breakfast event in Madison, where she’ll share updates on these initiatives and what’s ahead for the department.
