Society supports Medical College of Wisconsin plans

Madison, Wis. – Today’s announcement by the Medical College of Wisconsin is a welcome sign that our state’s citizens will continue to have access to the high quality, patient-centered care that Wisconsin has become known for. These community-based medical education campuses will increase the opportunities for Wisconsin students, who hopefully will stay in Wisconsin for their professional careers in health care.

On behalf of the Wisconsin Medical Society’s 12,000 members, I regret that I am unable to join the Medical College for this important announcement and wish to extend our support on this new endeavor.
