MetaStar hosts healthcare quality symposium

Healthcare conference on mindful care, improved health for all

Madison, Wisconsin – MetaStar hosted the annual Health Care Quality Symposium in Wisconsin Dells at the start of the month. The conference brought together healthcare professionals from across Wisconsin for a day of learning about mindful care to provide professionals with health care information that will increase mindfulness in the work setting and improve patient experience.

The Health Care Quality Symposium yearly themes change to give attendees a different learning experience that meets their continuing education requirement. Along with continuing education credits, attendees are able to network with other professionals and attend breakout session in different topic areas that appeal to their education needs. This year’s event included 120 attendees who had the opportunity to hear examples of community and cultural changes for preventive health, listen to a patient experience, experience mindfulness techniques and advance their knowledge in mindful care. Each attendee also received a coloring book so they could practice mindfulness during and after leaving the conference.
