With the opening of Prevea Urgent Care on Jan. 9, urgent care services at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital will transition to Prevea Urgent Care beginning that day. Patients who previously visited HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital for urgent care will not have to travel far, as Prevea Urgent Care is conveniently located just across the parking lot from the hospital.

“A medical need can come up at any time, including evenings and weekends,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO at Prevea Health. “That is why we are here. We want to meet people’s needs at a time that is convenient for them.”

As Prevea Health offers urgent care services in Chippewa Falls, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital will continue to provide exceptional emergency care. HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital is home to a Level III Trauma Center, with board-certified emergency physicians to provide care 24/7.
