Sauk Prairie Healthcare recognized for patient experience and workplace of the year
(Prairie du Sac, WIS) Sauk Prairie Healthcare is pleased to announce it has been named a 2019 Guardian of Excellence Award® winner by Press Ganey at the organization’s national conference in November.
The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing health care organizations that have achieved the 95th percentile or above in performance in patient experience. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.
“This honor reflects their unwavering commitment to improving the safety, quality, and experience of care,” said Patrick T. Ryan, Executive Chairman of Press Ganey. “Their hard work and dedication are inspiring, and we are proud to partner with them on our shared mission to reduce patient suffering.”
At the same event, Sauk Prairie Healthcare staff were also on hand to receive the Survey Solutions Workplace of the Year Award. This award recognizes hospitals and health systems nationwide that have outstanding levels of employee engagement.
This is the eighth year in a row that Sauk Prairie Healthcare has been recognized by Press Ganey, a humbling experience for members of the team, according to Sauk Prairie Healthcare CEO Shawn Lerch.
“These two recognitions demonstrate continued commitment by an extraordinary team, whose sole purpose is to positively impact the health and wellness of our communities,” said Lerch. “I feel so privileged to be part of an organization which invests so heavily in the success of each team member.
