ProHealth Care opens Mukwonago hospital

ProHealth Care opened its Mukwonago hospital Monday.

ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital-Mukwonago has 24 inpatient rooms and emergency care.

It also has a surgery and procedure center with four operating rooms, a cancer center offering infusion and radiation therapy, and primary, specialty and urgent care clinics.

It’ll offer advanced diagnostic imaging, laboratory services and rehabilitation services, with a retail pharmacy set to open later this year.

“We are excited to be able to bring a hospital to Mukwonago,” ProHealth Care CEO Susan Edwards said in a statement. “It is a privilege to serve the people of this area, and we look forward to continuing to grow with the community.”

The hospital will add about 100 new jobs. Construction started in 2019 and finished in November.

It’s ProHealth Care’s fourth hospital.
