Wisconsin Partnership Program offers $1.5 million in COVID-19 response grants

The Wisconsin Partnership Program plans to offer $1.5 million in grants to researchers and community organizations responding to COVID-19, according to a Tuesday statement.

The program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health will award half the money to community-led projects, and the other half to University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers.

Award amounts will range from $25,000 to $150,000 for up to 12 months. Applications are due April 15, and projects are expected to start May 1.

The program will also consider a future funding cycle as the pandemic evolves.

The Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment said

in late March it was awarding $5 million in grants to respond to COVID-19.
